What is Local Food Supply Co.

Put simply - we’re a 'modern farmer's market + online local food store' with 100% local food (yes, 100% !!) grown or crafted in BC!

Why support Local Food?

We have seen a rising movement of people wanting to support local businesses and specifically there is renewed focus on LOCAL FOOD, which is very encouraging to see. However, we also know that so many people are still shopping at big national grocery chains and we know those businesses are not really focussed on supporting small farms or food producers. Most of their food supply is not local and imported from other countries.

We believe that there should be MORE WAYS that we can buy LOCAL products. So, we’re building a new way to connect local restaurants/chefs, farmers, artisans and producers to the folks in our community that want to buy + support local.

We feature the amazing local farms, food suppliers and artisans from around the Fraser Valley, as well as other inspiring producers from around BC. We're here to inspire you what BC has to offer.

Where do you deliver?

We proudly deliver the best local food + goods to the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas:

  • Abbotsford - Delivery Tuesday & Friday
  • Chilliwack / Cultus Lake - Delivery Monday & Thursday
  • Langley - Delivery Wednesdays
  • Mission - Delivery Tuesday & Friday
  • Maple Ridge - Delivery Wednesdays

  • How do I get my LOCAL FOOD + LOCAL GOODS?

    Choose from one of our simple Pick-up or Delivery options that works best for your lifestyle needs:

    > *NEW* Same Day Delivery!
    Orders in the system by Noon on your area's next delivery day will be delivered between 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

    > Same Day Pickup!
    All orders placed by Noon will be packed and made available for pickup on the same day starting at 2:00 pm.

    > Next Day Pickup!
    All orders placed between Noon & Midnight will be ready for pickup at Noon the following day.

    Want to grab Local Food on-the-go or forget to order online? We got you covered! Pop by our location and order up to 10 items* (max) > we will pick them while you wait.

    SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS: Pick-up Orders only!
    We take a short delivery break on Sunday, but open for Pick-ups

    Can I order Local Craft Beer, BC Wine and Spirts?

    Yes! As we are a delivery service, we offer the ability to order from one of our liquor licensee partners through our website. We do not carry a liquor license, so there are the legal requirements for ordering + delivery alcohol based on BC Liquor Licensing Branch:

  • Orders must be placed by customer BEFORE liquor is purchased by the delivery service
  • We do not keep stock/inventory of the product in anticipation of orders, all orders are fulfilled same-day, once the order has been placed through the website
  • Liquor is purchased through licensed retailers (BC Liquor, Licenses Retail, Wine Stores, Special Wine, Liquor Primary, Craft Manufacturers
  • Deliveries are made by people of Age, 19+
  • Deliveries must be made to place where it can be consumed (i.e. at a home)
  • Charges shown on the website are the retail prices for liquor, plus a separate delivery charge shown on website. **NOTE: Alcohol is not available for Pick-up Orders, DELIVERY ONLY**

    When can I order Local Craft Alcohol Products?

    We offer Local Craft Beer + BC Wine offerings 6 days a week for Delivery (not available for pick-up orders, sorry!)

    We will also offer feature Craft Liquor Products on specific days of the week - stay tuned for more info, follow our social media for updates to come!

    Where is Local Food Supply Co. located?

    We are located at the Rail District Community Market in Downtown Abbotsford Located at 2518 West Railway Street (South Parking Lot) - look for the giant mural with our mission statement: "WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS."

    DELIVERY INFO

    When are deliveries made?

    Deliveries are made approximately 3pm-9pm daily (except Sundays, when we take a little break). Customers will receive a notification when delivery is on it's way and approx. 20-30mins before the delivery is scheduled to arrive. Why 3pm-9pm? We want to make sure that you are home to receive your Local Goods, so we shifted our delivery times to accommodate for this.

    NO CONTACT DELIVERY We offer No Contact delivery to your house or apartment, we can maintain 6ft distancing and our drivers wear masks and follow all BC Health and Safety Protocols.

    DELIVERY FEES We charge $10 per delivery for orders under $100 **NO DELIVERY FEE for Orders over $100 Delivery Fees only cover the costs for Gas, Staffing and Vehicle Maintenance *We offer FREE Pick-up service for those that want to save the delivery costs

    What if I miss my delivery?

    We deliver later in the day so you can go out and enjoy your day. If your delivery cannot be made, we will attempt again the following day.

    PAYMENTS Payment is made through our online store only. All prices shown are in Canadian, plus applicable taxes. *All orders are subject to available stock.

    RETURNS/REFUNDS

    Due to new health regulations, we cannot accept returns for any food products. If an item was damaged or incorrectly included in your order, please email us at info@localfoodsupplyco.com, we will arrange for a refund or credit on your account.

    ORDERS AND RETURNS

    Is there a minimum order size?

    We don’t have a Minimum Order for Pick-Up Orders. For Delivery order, we have a minimum order of $50 to account for the higher costs of delivery (gas, staffing, maintenance)

    Can I cancel my order?

    Yes, you can cancel your order online before your order deadline on your delivery day. If it is after the deadline and you need to cancel for emergency reasons, please email: hello@localfoodsupplyco.com to indicate the reason for cancellation and we will do our best to accommodate.

    Do I have to be home to receive my order?

    We prefer if you are home to receive your order, so that products can be received fresh. But if you cannot be there or don’t want to come to the door due to health concerns, please add any ‘notes’ when you place your order.

    *NOTE: We can ONLY develiver Craft Beer, Wine, Alcohol Products to someone in-person, as we need to Verify ID (19+) at the time of delivery. Please consider this when you are placing your order online.

    Can I Pick-Up my Order?

    Yes!! We have designed an efficient ‘drive-thru’ style pick up location in Downtown Abbotsford. We have designed this to be a simple, easy process, open from 12pm-8pm daily (12pm - 6pm Saturdays & Sundays), so you can swing by when you are doing errands or on the way home from work.

    Also - remember, no delivery fees for pick-up orders ;)
